Our four year course begins with a Foundation Year, the first year is designed to help boost your knowledge
and skills so that you are up to speed and ready to meet the challenges of the main degree (Year 1 – Year 3).
If you choose to study our three year course, you will begin with six compulsory modules in the first year.
These modules are designed to give a solid grounding in the subject and bring all students to a standard level
of competence to pursue further study in accountancy.
In the second year you will study three modules designed to enhance your capabilities in areas of Financial
Accounting and Management Accounting as well as in Financial Project Management. You will then study
Personal Financial Behaviour, which will develop your understanding of personal financial products and
behaviour, as well as what influences it.
In the final year you will study four compulsory modules designed to advance skills and knowledge appropriate
to graduate level. You will then have a choice of two modules, Work Internship or Business Start Up.
As you progress through this course, you will be required to devote more time to ethics, governance and
controversial accounting principles and will study accounting rules and apply accounting skills. When you
reach your final year of study you will find more emphasis on discussion, critical evaluation, reflection and
anticipation of likely future developments, preparing you for a future career in accounting and business.

Level 3 or equivalent qualifications are desirable. European and other International qualifications are accepted.

This Undergraduate course qualifies for funding from the Student Finance England You would normally apply for this funding at the time of your application and this will cover the cost of your tuition fees and in addition to this you may also be eligible for maintenance loan and other grants.
